Municipal Chief Imam of the Sunyani West Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Mustapha has cautioned Muslim communities to stop leading political violence and chaos which lead them into danger and deaths
He says it is unfortunate that about 90 percent of the political clashes are Muslim youth for no apparent reason. He says it is bad and should be condemned once and for all. He noted that the Islamic religion is noted for peace and not violence and chaos.
He says it is rather unfortunate that the less privileged ones are been used by the political leaders to lead violence while their children studying abroad.
Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed was addressing Muslims on the occasion of the Eid Al Adha festival at the Odumase community Park.
He said Muslim communities should avoid disunity, hypocrisy, backbiting, and other forms of vices.
According to him, no community could develop without peace, unity, and love for one another.
The most worrying thing was that no government official of the Sunyani West municipal assembly was present.
