The Nkoranza South member of parliament, Hon Emmanuel Agyekum has pleaded with the Nkoranza South assembly members and the government appointees to accept the president’s nominee for the second time.

Hon Emmanuel Agyekum in his address says it is rather unfortunate for the 22 assembly members to vote for No against 20 yes.

Hon Emmanuel Agyekum an NDC ticket MP has pleaded with the hon assembly member to consider developments in the area. He says the people of Nkoranza need total unity to move the municipality lacking several developments.

The former deputy minister for local government and rural development in the NDC era, hon Emmanuel Agyekum has pleaded with honorable members to bury all differences and focus on developmental issues.

Hon Emmanuel Agyekum has called on Nananom, hon assembly members, and the government appointees to reconsider their decision and endorse the president’s nominee, hon Dina Ataa Kusiwaa at the second voting.

Hon Dina Ataa Kusiwaa in her short address praised the assembly members for their votes cast and wish them well.

Some of the chiefs present at the voting room also kicked against the outcome of the results and urged the voters to have a change of mind at the second voting.
