Ghana has been placed first in the world yams marketing business. This is welcome news, but will this change the Ghanaian hardship situation? If cocoa, gold, oil, timber, mango, and the almighty E Levy had all failed, can yams make any positive impact on the economy?
Why is Ghana still never dreaming to process any of our farm produce to add more value? Is this not too petty?
