Ghana needs practical economists to manage the valueless cedi from going into total doldrums. It is said one dollar is 9 cedis and the exchange of 1 pound is almost 11 Ghana cedis. One can’t believe this, but that is the fact.
Ghana has the worst economists when compared to our neighboring countries. Our dependency on foreign goods is the major course.
It is sad that our leaders are championing the importation of foreign goods instead of going into production.
Why has the vice president, Dr Bawumia stopped talking about the rearresting of the dollar and other hard currencies? I can’t get it!
