Accra great Olympic won the top six in an empty stadium. At the moment the GFA decided to change the top 4 to the top six to include Accra Hearts of Oak messed up the tournament.
Finally, the inclusion of the Accra Heart of Oak also didn’t yield any positive results, as Hearts paraded only their second team for the top six. Perhaps the inclusion of Hearts denied Asante Kotoko from the top six.
It became a tournament of record, without any fame. Why did the media fail to advertise the matches? This is a lesson to the GFA to reason up when taking certain decisions next time.
