IGP George Akufo Dompare has started prosecuting all land guards who use weapons to brutalize people on land litigation. The IGP has prosecuted 34-year-old Nathaniel Alabi for possessing weapons for discharging his duty as a land guard officer.
Alabi was picked for handling weapons. According to the IGP, only the police and the military have the sole right to halt the people from land development. He said any individual who does so from the instruction of the chief will end up in the law court.
