On Saturday 11th of January, thousands of sympathizers mourned the DCE of the Offinso North in the Ashanti region, the late Hon David Kwasi Asare Boakye when paying their last respect. It was unsurprising that the vice president, Dr. Bawumia, and several state ministers, MMDCEs, the traditional chiefs, and the public attended the grand funeral celebration in their numbers.
In the biography of the Late, Offinso North DCE, David Asare Boakye attested that Offinso North and Ghana had lost a true and God-fearing politician who saw developmental issues as his first priority. He won several citation plaques during his turn in office, it will be challenging to get his replacement. His unity with the Offinso North MP, Hon. Collins Ntim was the secret of their successes.
Hon David Kwasi Asare Boakye turned 70 before his demise on that black 7th of November 2022. He left behind 7 children and a wife, Mercy Yeboaa Konadu. If the flow of tears could bring life, the widow, Mercy Yeboaa, the children, party members, MP Collins Ntim and the public would have resurrected Adwumawura.
