It is still not clear why several married wives, mostly in rural communities, serve as slaves to their husbands. It is sad, women carry their babies at their backs and at the same time, carry the load while the husband looks unconcerned walking home empty-handed. When will this bad tradition end?
Will it not be best for such married wives to call for divorce? At certain times, church marriage helps to enslave most wives who fear breaching the laws of the church and the Bible.
The most annoying and painful thing to see was when the wife was handling her husband’s bag and the walking stick to cover 15 kilometres while the man was drinking a soft drink.
Does the Bible compel one to be a slave until the kingdom comes? I guess human right has to come into this wives’ slavery issue.
End this crazy marriage!
