While speaking to Graphic Showbiz recently, M. anifest acknowledged the prowess and versatility of his younger colleague Black Sharif.
In furtherance, the rapper predicted that Ghana’s rap scene would continue to grow and prosper in the future because of the country’s remarkable pool of up-and-coming rappers.
He believes that young rap musicians have shown exceptional potential that can inspire action.
He asserted that these rappers would experience phenomenal success on a national and worldwide level if the correct circumstances and opportunities were offered.
According to M.anifest, in order for these rappers to become unstoppable competitors who will compete against the rest of the globe, they need the maximum amount of encouragement and fervour, both of which are lacking in the Ghanaian music industry.
“Are there rappers that are coming up? Definitely, and some of them are scary good. I think the new era of rappers is going to be better than us because they have interacted with the globe differently.
“And also, just as we have been fortunate to build off the shoulders of the Obrafours and the likes, I think there is going to be a new crop of rappers who are going to be out of this world.
I mean, look at Black Sherif, are you kidding? That is a rapper with a melody, and they are taking it to the next level,” M.anifest said.
