The former Barcelona captain needs four more to become the record holder. Messi’s fellow compatriot, Ángel Di María, holds the current record. The Juventus winger registered 18 assists with the PSG during the 2015-2016 campaign.
Apart from assists, Messi has netted 15 times in the league for PSG. Overall, the 35-year-old has 20 goals and 19 assists in 36 games across competitions for the Parisians this season.
This is an incredible record that he will surely break based on his current form.
