In connection with the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Bulldog, who is renowned for his eccentricities and wrapped them up in his speech and demeanor, just threw his famed template at us once more.
He claims that at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), no gospel musician will be voted Artiste of the Year.
This is in response to Piesie Esther, a Ghanaian inspiring female gospel artist, who claimed on UTV’s Showbiz that she will unquestionably win Artist of the Year.
The gospel performer was nominated for seven Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, including Artiste of the Year.
Bullgod stated in an interview with Berla Mundi on the TV3 NewDay entertainment news program that Piesie Esther might not be named this year’s artist of the year till the 34th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
“She should come up, but not this year,” I wished. Perhaps she ought to hold out till the 34th VGMA Awards.
Bullgod believes that Black Sherif and Stonebwoy deserve to win Artiste of the Year for their dedication and hard work.
“So I’m saying that this year, if you look at what our people in the world have done, as in the Stonebwoys and Black Sherifs, no, we will not allow any gospel people to win; even if the Church of Pentecost, Church of Presby, and Church of Anglican join, they will not win; they won’t win against Lucifer.
The rest of the world is supporting Lucifer, therefore this is Lucifer versus God, and God knows we will prevail this time. You get the picture, he said.
