The Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare has disclosed that the Agenda 111 Hospitals will cost a little over $2bn dollars.
Dr Nsiah Asare has assured that there is sufficient funding available for the completion of the project.
The Agenda 111 project was inaugurated by President Nana Akufo-Addo on August 17, 2021, with a promise to complete the work within 18 months.
Some districts have faced challenges in acquiring land for construction, leading to doubts about the government’s commitment to the projects.
The Presidential Advisor on Health said, if all things were equal, all the hospitals will be completed before the end of President Akufo-Addo’s second term.
According to him, apart from education, one sector that the government has invested much into is Health.
