You are welcome to the village. Mostly, it is in the villages that you may see all these traditional roasted foods. Such foods make one feels at home.
In the old good days, such roasted foods were being prepared at farms, at times, at home where the youth gathered in the morning to roast all sorts of local foods including coco yam, plantain and yams.
The children were found doing this because only big villages sell food to the public in the morning.
Most school children go to school with leftover food while others roast yams’ coco yam and plantain to school.
During the mango season, severe school children solely rely on fruits.
