Aggressive offensive odour has ejected all traders living in the Techiman Mfanti new town of the Bono East region. The refuse dump that has not been attended to for over three years has blocked three roads linking other major roads in Techiman.
Nkyeremu New had already filed this report on several occasions, but the people in authority have failed to address this unfortunate situation.
Several people in the area have now been relocated elsewhere. The fear of the refuse dump spreading into the various homes will not be a surprise, since the people in authority look unconcern about this canker.
The authority has admitted that there are many such refuse dumps in techiman town, but no funding to evacuate the dumps.
