The Paramount Chief of Jama Traditional Area of the North Mo Traditional Council in the Savanna Region, Nnaa Professor Lanjagor Karley II has expressed his commitment to work with all traditional rulers in the Savanna region to enhance faster development.
Nnaa was optimistic that with unity, dedication and focus, the traditional area can work in line with the government to achieve its goals.
The Paramount Chief of Jama also called on Ghanaians to embrace the act of voluntarily participating in communal activities to drive transformational development.
He says, ”It is important that we participate in communal labour like the old good days to do the little that we can. The professor stressed that, since development was demand-driven, community members should embrace developmental ideas and work together in achieving them”.
He appealed to the government to reconstruct the New Logoro to Kintampo road to enhance economic activities in the area.
Nnaa again, pleaded with the government to work hand in hand with the various telecommunications network to upgrade their communication systems in the area.
I want to establish a virtual learning centre to boost quality education here in Jama and its surrounding areas, this vision can not be materialized without a strong communication network, he said.
