There are countless reasons why children celebrate the Mothers’ day more than Father’s Day. Apart from the mothers being in labour for 9 months before delivery, the babies in their mothers’ wombs have special covenants and tight relationships.
After delivery, the mothers have to breastfeed their babies for 2 years or more before the father starts supporting them in the feeding. How many fathers even do this?
Mothers carry their babies far and near to school on foot, where are the fathers then? Only few fathers help in this direction.
The fact is, children may not know who finances for the family. All these are factors binding their children to their mother from their infancy.
What even denies the children more from their fathers is that fathers discipline the children when they mistake. Afterward, the same mother who reported the case for discipline will turn round and pamper the child by saying, your father is too wicked stop crying, I will buy you toffees and biscuits.
Most fathers hardly stay home and share with their children than the mothers. Why want these children to celebrate their mothers?
