Nnaa Professor Lanjagor Karley II, Jama Kooro and the Paramount Chief of Jama Traditional Area have been introduced and inducted together with the Chibrinyua Akuma queen mother, Nnaa Telebana Beweleju in the Bole District of Savannah Region.

The Acting President of the North-Mo Traditional Council who doubles as the Chief of Chibrinyua, Nnaa Akangbon Kintor II extends his congratulatory message to the newly inducted members for their legal recognition.

He said they have the right to participate in key decision-making processes during the council meetings.

Nnaa Akangbon Kintor II urged the inducted members to be peacemakers and development-oriented, regardless of the challenges they may face.

The Jama Kooro was extremely excited to be selected, introduced and inducted into the council as the Jama Kooro and the Paramount Chief of the Jama Traditional Area.

He expressed his gratitude to the kingmakers and the members of the North-Mo Traditional Council, for the honour bestowed upon him.

‘Before I came here I have been gazetted by the National House of Chiefs, and I am grateful to them and the Savannah Region House of Chiefs for facilitating the process’, he said.

Nnaa Lanjagor Karley II informed the council that he had met and informed the Yagbon Wura of the day of his coronation, which has been slated for 21st October 2023.

Nnaa Professor Lanjagor Karley II pledged to unite people to make sure that they get development in the area, particularly innovation in education he is working on.

The Paramount Chief of Jama Traditional Area also pledged to work together with all the Chiefs within the area to enable them to achieve quality education in the North-Mo Traditional Area, Mo in general, and the Savannah region as a whole.

He was officially introduced to the Council by the Kingmaker and Krontihene (Harete) of Jama in the person of Nnaa Timothy Kwabena Krah.
