On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council will hold an interactive session with the media at the Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi.
The meeting complies with the MEET THE PRESS series that the administration led by Kurt Okraku implemented.
This comes after the Ghana Football Association fired head coach Chris Hughton of the Black Stars due to their underwhelming performance and immediately established a committee to choose a replacement.
After securing permission to protest against GFA, a group of journalists led by Saddick Adams and Countryman Songo petitioned Nana Akufo-Addo to stop GFA’s search for a new coach. On February 14, 2024, Kurt Okraku took over as administrator.
Prosper Harrison Addo, the general secretary, President Simeon-Okraku, members of the Executive Council, leaders of several departments and committees, and other significant Ghana Football Association figures will be there to engage with the media.
On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., this edition will launch at the Lancaster Hotel in Kumasi.
