The Ghanaian attacker, Jordan Ayew of Crystal Palace, won the Player of the Month title in February. Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew has also bagged the Goal of the Month Award in January in the French Ligue 1. In their homeland, Ghanaians see them as useless players.

He was previously awarded the Cinch Player of the Month Award in August, thus this is his second season victory.

Due to his outstanding contributions to the squad, Ayew received almost 54% of the vote, demonstrating his support among Crystal Palace fans.

Ayew accomplished a noteworthy career milestone last weekend as he made his 200th appearance for Crystal Palace in a convincing 3-0 win over Burnley.

He added a goal and an assist to commemorate this milestone, bringing his season total of goal contributions to 10.

This notable performance was preceded by Ayew’s memorable goal against Everton at Goodison Park, which earned him a nomination for the Premier League Goal of the Month award.

Despite facing strong competition, including from new arrival Adam Wharton, Ayew’s consistent excellence on the field made him the standout choice for the Player of the Month award in February.

The 30-year-old aims to maintain his impressive form as Crystal Palace takes on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League later today.

Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew has bagged the Goal of the Month Award in January in the French Ligue 1.

The veteran forward won the award with his overhead kick in a 3-3 draw, with Lorient getting the most votes to clinch the award.

Ayew scored the overhead kick late in a league contest against Lorient to rescue a point for Le Havre Athletic Club.

The goal was one of two Dede Ayew scored in his first game on his return from competing in the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.

Ayew’s goals against Lorient were his first for Le Havre since joining the club late in the 2023 calendar year and marked his first goals in the league after an eight-year absence.
