The Kyidomhene of the Techiman Traditional Area in the Bono East region, Oyeadeyie Asa Akompani, the chief of Krobo has urged Ghanaians to cast their vote based on realities. Oyeadyie stressed that voters should consider the developments in their area and compare them to the previous governments. The key factor Nana puts more emphasis on is the living standard of the voters. Oyeadeyie Asa Akompani said this when celebrating the Yam Festival at Krobo Palace.
Oyeadeyie Asa Akompani pleaded with politicians to tell the little they can achieve in power rather than telling lies at all times. Nana believes in the 2024 election, politicians can’t take Ghanaians for granted. Nana says most Ghanaians’ vote will be based on the job done and the current situation.
Nana was disturbed by the total water body pollution and the destruction of forests and cash crops like cocoa, championed by some politicians and traditional chiefs. He says it is likely to import water to Ghana within the shortest possible time if the government fails to halt the illegalities on Ghanaian water bodies.
Nana Akomppani says he is always attracted to any political party ready to offer the people of Krobo massive developmental projects. Nana, ending his political address, says any political party which denies the people of Krobo is at a loss because they have the numbers to change the political seat in both the Techiman south and the north constituencies.
Oyeadeyie, pleaded with the youth to avoid political crashes before, during and after the 2024 general elections’ election.
Nana pleaded with the people of Krobo to help themselves, since the government alone cannot bring everything to the table. He says Krobo has more intellectuals but failed to come home. He stressed that the grown-ups will soon leave their seats and need prominent people to replace them.
Oyeadeyie Asa Akompani concluded that Ghana needs every Ghanaian to play his role with dedication. He condemned people in the high authorities who used pens to drain the Ghanaian economy.
