Two Arrested Over Killing Adam Wahab

Two suspects have been arrested by the Wenchi police in the Bono region in connection with the death of Adamu Wahab Popularly known as Adamu Soldier.

Adamu Wahab, 55 a farmer in Wenchi was found dead at his farm on Monday.

The deceased was said to have left home on Monday to visit his farm but did not return on time so his wife informed their head of the family and organized a search party which eventually led to his lifeless body found in the river Yooyoo near his farm.

The family suspected foul play in the murder of Adamu Soldier since he had a land dispute with some people.

Meanwhile, some irate of the Wenchi Zango youth have burnt the residence and destroyed the washing bay of a businessman and a sub-Chief in Wenchi whom they suspect are behind the killing of late Adamu Soldier.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Eric Awudzivi, the Wenchi Municipal Police Commander in a press briefing said they have picked two key suspects over the death of Adamu Wahab.
They are Nana Ameyaw well known as God Bless and John Kofi Dekyi.

The third suspect, Alhanssan is on the run he said. Meanwhile, the two suspects have been sent to the Sunyani regional police headquarters for investigations.

The Wenchi MCE, Dr. Prince Kwakye Afiriyie has assured to bring all suspects behind the killing to book. He calls for calm in the municipality.
