
Pupils at Sampson Akura, a suburb of Drobonso in Sekyere Afram Plains in the Ashanti region have stopped attending school due to the bad state of their structures.
Though the school has KG up to primary six due to their limited structure, the school administration has combined P1 and two in a class, P3 and 4, and vice versa.
This unfortunate situation according to the people is badly affecting their academic work and needs immediate intervention.

Some the schoolchildren revealed that the poor state of the school affects their day-to-day activities and now prefer going to farm with their parents.
They are appealing to the government to let the Sampson Akura and its catchment area also have their fair share of the national cake.
Chief of Sampson Akura, Baba Issah added other challenges including; a road, school, health, and power among others.
Assembly member and Unit committee chairman of the area, Adama Musa and Opanin Kwadwo also expressed their concerns.
