The national match commissioner’s instructor, Mike Amedior has assured soccer fans to witness the best officiating at all clubs levels in Ghana due to the new recruitments and refresher courses been organized by the GFA and Match Commission to update referees and match commissioners. He said this at Susec in the Bono region during their refreshers workshop.

The national match commissioner’s instructor, Mike Amedior says the beauty of football matches largely depends on good officiating hence the need for nationwide refresher courses.

The match commission instructor says the rapid revision of the rules of the games has necessitated a two-day refresher courses to update the knowledge and skills of the MCs to comprehend the stuff of the game.

Mike Amedior demonstrated with the ball on technical foul, offside, an infringement, and what to ignore when the ball hits the hand. He was able to prove that he is a legend who understands soccer rules and their interpretations.

The national match commission chairman, Paul Ayamba, and the national match commissioners instructor, Mike Amedior are optimistic that, 2021/2022 will be witnessing the best football officiating in Ghana based on their new dimensions.

Mike Amendior says the Ghana football association has identified the switched attention of the youth to European football.

He says the GFA has reintroduced juvenile football in all regional capitals. They have also compiled all premiership clubs to register players below 18 years to draw much attention of the youth.
