The Omanhene of the Techiman Traditional Council Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw iv has solitary built a two master bedroom apartment for the Techiman senior high school to help reduce accommodation challenges among the teaching staff of the school.
The Super Tess been established in 1963 with about 60 students can now boost over 3,000 students with 46 teaching staff. The school has a lot of infrastructure challenges, these accommodations deficits have compelled Oseadeyo Akumfi Ameyaw iv to provide the school with this generous offer.
The Omanhene Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw iv again donated GH5,000 Ghana cedis to help in the renovation exercises of the school. The Kentenhene, Nana Owusu Ansah, and others also made promises to help support infrastructural projects to decongest overclouding in the classrooms and dormitories.
In spite of their challenges, the school does so well in sports activities and national science quizzes. Looking at the professionals that Super Tess has produced, it deserves better from its past glories Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw iv said.
The Omanhene of the Techiman traditional council made an appeal to all past students and the government to switch attention to the school. Oseadeyo urges the students to take their education with all seriousness.
A former student of Super TESS, who rose to become the headmaster of the school and retired as the GES director and now the board chairman of the school, Amanor Kyereme has pleaded with all old students to help renovate one suspected deaf trap block to ease the pressure in the limited boarding facilities.
Omanhene Akumfi Ameyaw iv was been accompanied by the MCE for Techiman Hon Benjamin Yaw Gyarko, and the school authorities commissioned the two master bedrooms apartment.
