The raw cooked coco yam commonly called akaw with the red-hot pepper is the best food that will never fade out from generation to generation. Akaw can be eating raw without stew. However, it will be the best with hot pepper, tomato, koobi and red oil including onions.

Akaw ampesi doesn’t need any form of spices, everything about it is local and raw.
