Perhaps such an attitude had woefully been attributed to the failure of planting for food and job creation. It is clear that it was in the era of the planting for food and creation that a bag of maize rose to 600 Ghana cedis in 2022 era. Is this not an exposé?
The very agriculture offices in Ghana don’t have vehicles to run their businesses, but the state has bought these vehicles for the so-called planting for food and job creation, and yet, we can’t see their jobs done anywhere. They use the vehicles for their private businesses.
I believe strongly that, if the support offered to the planting for food and job creation had been given to the deserving workers in the agriculture sectors, it would have helped than what we saw from the Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto’s administration where he started conveying foodstuff from villages to the ministry to sell.
In Ghana, politicians will always create jobs for people in their party who don’t deserve them.
