The former president JJ Rawlence’s Charisma for the venerable was unprecedented. Of late, we only see politicians pounding fufu and eating with the poor when it is close to the elections. His relationship with the rural people mostly the poor perhaps compelled him to extend power, water and good roads to most of the rural communities in the country during his military regime and democratic time in office.
