Armed robbers have gunned down a 40-year-old Adama Ibrahim, a mobile attendant and a 19-year-old student who sustained multiple gunshots in the Sene West district of the Bone East region.

The Sene West District chief executive, Hon John Nyama disclosed this at the end of Bono East Regional Coordinating Council meeting. The DEC is worried none of the suspects have been brought to book since July 2023.

The unfortunate incident occurred at 7 pm when it rained and power was shut down, the armed robbers shot and killed the mobile attendant operator instantly. The DCE, John Nyama says the decline of a security patrol in the area has created fear and panic, the most affected are the traders, he said.

The DCE Hon John Nyama pleaded with the Bono East regional minister Hon. Adu Gyan to help beef up security patrol exercises in the area. He says the robbery has badly affected their revenue.

The Bono East regional minister, Hon Adu Gyan has assured to strengthen the security measures in the aforementioned areas to bring peace and order.
