The Black Stars need to give Ghanaians some breathing room. A poor worker is constantly griping about his equipment. The Black Stars haven’t taken home a major trophy in more than 40 years. Money was the only reason the Black Stars were more interested in the South Africa tour. South Africa’s current temperature is 18 degrees, whereas it is the same in Ghana and Ivory Coast. For this reason, the Libyan national team has set up camp in Ghana to acclimate.
It’s unfortunate that players like Abedi Pele and Tony Yeboah among others, had to fly in to play for the Black Stars by their finances. It is sad they didn’t win the Africa Cup. These days, everyone is stomach-directed, starting from the GFA and sports ministry among others. A good example was when Black Stars players put dollars in their pockets during Brazil’s World Cup, What were the results? It will be better to consider the women’s national teams!
They have no right to complain about poor roads given the Black Stars’ bus. It appears that the black stars are afraid of losing the Africa Cup of Nations again.
The Baba Yara Stadium was the team’s original training location, however, the technical staff deemed the pitch inadequate after an examination. This unanticipated setback raised concern because the field was now considered unusable.
An obstacle forced the squad to change the location of their training to better prepare for the coveted tournament. The Black Stars’ commitment to preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations has not wavered in the face of the setback.
However, the difficulties brought on by the unsatisfactory pitch conditions have disappointed the technical staff, highlighting the significance of appropriate training environments for peak performance in the forthcoming event.
