The National Chief Imam Sheikh Dr. Osumanu Nuhu Sharabutu has prayed for a peaceful election before and after the 2024 general elections. He also wishes all Ghanaians Eid Al Adha celebration.
In his prayer he urged all people to cultivate the habit of giving, he says giving pays back in multiple folds. He added, that giving to the needy pays higher prizes in return!

On April 23, 1923, in Old Fadama, Dr. Sharubutu, a member of the National Peace Council, was born. His forefathers are Northern Nigerian Hausa ethnic people. The majority of the Hausa people living in Ghana today may trace their lineage back to the Hausa traders who founded prosperous towns in Dagbon, Gonja, Nkoranza, and Ashanti. These traders dealt with Cola nuts and livestock. But his forefathers were not merchants.
