Kwame Nkrumah was the first President of Ghana and a member of the “Big Six“. He was born on 21 September, hence, the “Founder’s” Day celebration is on the 21st of September each year in honour of his participation in the Ghanaian movement for independence from British colonial rule.
Does the change matter? Dr Kwame Nkrumah was born on the 21st of September 1909. Ghanaians observe the day to honour him, among others. The change in history is a challenge to the upcoming students.
