The executive director for the National Commission of Culture, Nana Otuo Owahene has described the 2024 National Festival of Arts and Culture to be extraordinary based on the early preparation made so far. He was touched as the good people in the region had already planned ahead of the celebration starting from the 10th to the 31st of October.
He says the host of the Bono East region is unique and historic, he explains that, among the new six regions, the Bono East is the first region to host the event, again, 2024 October marks the NAFAC 60th celebration. He explains further that, the region has all the natural tourism sites to pave the way for tourists globally. Nana Otu owahene says The Bono East region hosting the 2024 National Commission of Culture is not by chance but deserved.
He says the location of Ghana at the centre of the world surrounded by natural sites is an opportunity for Ghanaians to be proud of and make money out of it
Nana Otuo Owahene praised the Deputy Director of the National Commission on Culture, Richardson Fio, Bono East Regional Director on Culture, and the traditional leaders for their immense role in hosting the 2024 NAFAC celebration.
25 members have been selected to handle all programs ahead of the occasion, their chairman is the Akwamuhene of the Techiman Traditional area, Nana Owusu Gyare.
The Bono East regional minister, Hon Kwasi Adu Gyan says, Bono East is ready to host and win. His ego to host and win can be read from his actions.
The Omanhene of the Yeji traditional, also the Bono east regional house of Chiefs president, Nana Pemampim Yaw Kagbrese V in his address says, the region is fully prepared to host the 2024 NAFAC in a grand style.
The 2024 NAFAC launch was unveiled by the chairman of the occasion, Nana Yaw Kagbrese V among others.
