Arsenal delivered a night of sheer dominance at the Emirates Stadium, stunning European giants Real Madrid with a 3-0 victory that sent the Gunners into the UEFA Champions League semifinals and ended Madrid’s title hopes brutally. Clinical edge, while Madrid looked overwhelmed and surprisingly flat on the grand stage.

Bukayo Saka opened the scoring in the 58th minute after gliding past Ferland Mendy and curling a perfect finish into the far corner. The Emirates erupted as the Gunners grabbed control of the match but failed to utliise the it chances.

Real Madrid attempted to respond, with Jude Bellingham and Vinícius Jr. showing glimpses of creativity, but Arsenal’s defensive line, marshalled superbly by William Saliba and Ben White kept the Spanish side at bay.

Gabriel Martinelli made it 2-0 just after half-time, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to slide the ball past Courtois in the 58th minute. The second goal came 8 minutes after the spectacular banana kick that surprised all fans at the Emirates Stadium, including the coaches and players. Madrid gave Arsenal the belief they needed to see the tie through. Perhaps, the third goal killed the game as the hope of the Madrid players was down-spirited.

The defeat marks the end of Real Madrid’s Champions League campaign and deepens fears of a trophyless season, with the club crashing against Barcelona in the fantastic form in final of the Copa del Rey coming 26. Again, Barcelona leads Madrid 4 points with a few matches left.
