The Assin Central MP, hon Kennedy Agyapong has lambasted chairman Wontumi for his active involvement in illegal mining. According to Ken Agyapong, there are a host of NPP and NDC gurus who are seriously engaged in illegal mining.
He says they pay just 50 and 60 Ghana cedis to the boys who are engaged in the deadly work for over 12 hours in a day.
The no-nonsense MP, Kennedy Agyapong has vowed to name all of them. He says it is rather unfortunate that the same NPP is denying president, Nana Akufo Addo to succeed in his fight against illegal mining in the country which has destroyed all our water bodies and the land cover.
