The district GNAT chairman of Techiman, Nana John Owusu Antwi has assured that their active members will start benefiting from a three-bedroom and a hall apartment starting from January 2022.
Nana made this known after he was re-elected for the second time in office as the Techiman district GNAT chairman at their 53rd district delegates conference held in Techiman- Bamire multi-purpose conference hall of the Bono region.
The occasion was been graced by the chiefs of the Techiman traditional council and Bono East GES regional director, Efuah Amoah.
The chalked successes of Nana John Owusu Antwi in his previous administration as the GNAT chairman helped him to poll 75. 09 percent out of the three candidates that filed for the chairmanship position.
In 2017, their GNAT membership stood at 2,408 but now increased to 3,463 due to the new developments and incentives packages ahead of their active members.
Nana has made a firmed promise that before their active members go on retirement, they may own houses to live a comfortable life.
The regional GNAT Secretary, Ibrahim Adobadom also affirmed that GNAT will do all it can to make the teaching service one of the most attractive professions in the country.
In the vice chairmanship position, Adjei Samuel also maintained his position with 65. 69 percent of votes cast.
There were several other positions held in highly competitive polls.
