NPP Delegates In Bono East Elect Ibrahim Bukari Babah New NPP Regional Chairman

The NPP delegates in the Bono East region have voted for a new face, Ibrahim Bukari Baba as the Bono east regional chairman. He polled 151 against the incumbent, Thomas Appiah who had 78 votes cast. Another aspirant in the chairmanship race is former MCE of Techiman Hon Prince Yaw Donyina alias Oyiakwan who obtained 7 votes.  One vote was rejected.

The first vice chairmanship position went to King David Amoa he polled 122 votes and Alhaji Ibrahim 115. Davide Boakye maintained his regional secretary position with 129 and his close aspirant, Kofi Amofa, 108. Sophia Afriyie also maintained her position as regional women organizer with 174 against her aspirant, Akosua Kufour 63 votes.

Lawyer Nana Sekyere Boateng also lost the second vice chairmanship position to another new face, Baba Ahmed.

The chairman-elect, Ibrahim Bukari Baba, has pleaded with all-party members of the NPP to bury their differences and focus on the 2024 elections.
