The Twafohene of the Wenchi Traditional Area, in the Bono region, Nana Akora Tuah, has described the election crisis as useless and needless. Nana Akora Tuah explained further that the victims of the election crisis are the deprived people in the community, while the people vying for the positions, families and children do not come near the polling stations. Some of their family and children are mostly not in Ghana. Nana said this at Mesidan during his peace awareness campaign organized ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Nana Akora Tuah is one of the prominent Chiefs in the Mesidan community of the Bono East region. Nana cautions the youth to desist from all crashes since politicians only use them for their political power and nothing more. He says anyone who becomes a victim at the polling stations will face the law alone.
In conclusion, Nana says, we have one Ghana, one people, and one candidate to elect, the results shouldn’t call for bloodshed since one must win. Nana is one of the pivotal key players at Mesidan.
The chairman of the peace council in the Bono East region, Rev Prince Owusu Asaku pleaded with the people to avoid all forms of political clashes. He says political crisis retrogress development, disorders and a total mess of life. He says everyone suffers when war breaks up, but the most affected people are the innocent children and their mothers.

There were several peace talks ahead of the 2024 general election. Gracing the occasion, the people of Mesidan marched through all the principal streets demonstrating their readiness for peace. The Mesidan people performed peaceful play with placards, followed by the Mesidan Methodist church choir singers group.
